Research & Strategy

I start by getting clear on the client’s goals, audience, and voice. This includes market & competitor research, brand voice research, and creating a content strategy — all to make sure we’re writing with real clarity and direction.

Writing & Revising

Once the strategy’s locked in, I’ll write the first draft with a clear structure. The client will have space to review and give feedback, and I’ll make revisions from there.

Finalization

After edits, I’ll proof and polish everything so it’s ready to go — clear, confident, and consistent with the brand’s messaging.

Client: The Prototype

  • The Prototype needed updated brand messaging and launch support across multiple channels. I worked closely with the project manager to:

    • Refresh the website with personality-driven copy

    • Write weekly newsletter emails to keep the audience engaged

    • Develop and set up a complete email and social content strategy for their signature course launch

    The goal was to make every word feel like a conversation with the designers. We kept it warm, human, and grounded in strategy, so the audience didn’t just read, they connected.

  • We wanted to move away from polished-but-generic copy and lean into messaging that felt real. My approach focused on:

    • Using strategic storytelling and testimonials to build trust

    • Writing with a tone that matched the founder’s voice: thoughtful, confident, and clear

    • Aligning copy across emails, social, and web to guide readers smoothly through the brand journey

Client: Mako Mindfulness

  • The client needed regular content to maintain visibility, share insights, and nurture relationships. I supported their marketing strategy by writing:

    • Weekly newsletters

    • Lead nurture and client onboarding email sequences

    • LinkedIn articles

    • Social media posts

    Our goal: to create warm, insightful content that consistently builds trust with both potential and current clients.

  • Before jumping into content, I worked with the client to clarify their voice, define their audience segments, and identify their core content pillars. From there, I:

    • Developed a repeatable tone-of-voice guide

    • Interviewed past clients to uncover the language, tone, and key decision drivers — then used those insights to guide messaging and content.

    • Built out frameworks for emails and posts to streamline future content

    This allowed us to consistently publish thoughtful, actionable content, even during busy seasons.
